One of our favorite naturals, Janelle Monae will soon be honored at Billboards Annual Women In Music Event on December 6th in New York City. Janelle will be receiving the honorary Trailblazer award for her courageous innovative work in and outside the music industry.
The Trailblazer Award acknowledges female entertainers who are trailblazers in the music industry and make recognizable efforts to insure to blaze a trail for performers of the future.
With six Grammy nominations, a career that includes several outstanding albums, singles, collabs and a budding acting career not to mention her philanthropic work, Janelle Monae is more than deserving of every award she receives.
