5 STYLES TO COMPLIMENT YOUR TWA

5 STYLES TO COMPLIMENT YOUR TWA

When I first did the big chop 10 years ago I had no idea how to style my natural hair. There weren’t nearly as many natural hair products or even natural gurus out there to guide me and lets not even talk about the lack of natural hair pictures that popped up on google or pinterest, actually I’m not even sure if pinterest was a thing then. Neeedless to say there was a lot of trial and error when it came to finding what worked for me style wise. Luckily there are so many avenues to find hair inspo now for newly naturals or women who simply love rocking a twa. Here are some of our favorite looks!

    1.Ponytails with the back down

I absolutely love this look! These two ponytails with the back down is a classic look that goes great with twa’s. You can literally wear it anywhere.

    2. Side part

There’s nothing like a classic side part. This style looks great for any length of your twa. If your hair has trouble laying down try using bobbi pins to keep your hair in place. Also our Smooth and Hold Edge Control Gel works great with holding down your edges for this style.

    3. Curl set

Curl sets are a great way to get your curls to pop! Flexi rod, bantu knots, and rod sets are perfet for twa’s. Try our Honey Whip Hydrating Mousse and our Sweet Honey Hair Milk to achieve this style.

    4. Tie it up

Scarves are a great way to jazz up your twa! You can buy an actual scarf or even you an old t-shirt to achieve this look.

    5.Short and sassy

All you really need to achieve this look is our Honey Curls Custard, and our Butter Cream Daily Moisturizer for beautiful soft and well defined curls!

What is your favorite twa style?
