Soft, romantic, beach waves, aren’t just for blondes! Natural girls can rock a fierce and flowing wavy style as well, and we’ve got the pictures to prove it! You can achieve this look with or without heat, and we’ll tell you how to do both! Here are a few very easy steps on how to rock a glam beach wave!

 1.Cleanse, Condition, Blow dry

If you are using heat, you want to have clean, stretched hair. Shampoo, and condition your hair with tgin’s Moisture Rich Shampoo, and Triple Moisture Replenishing Conditioner. Once the hair is clean, you can blow dry it to stretch your hair. Don’t worry about getting your hair pin straight, you want to keep your volume.

No Heat:

If you are not using heat, apply tgin’s Twist and Define Cream if you want a curlier, more defined look. Apply tgin’s Daily Butter Cream, if you are going for a more moisturized, but free and flowing look. You can stretch your hair by putting it in twists throughout your hair until it dries. If it typically takes a long time for your hair to dry, you may have to wait several hours for it to fully dry.

2.Section and Curl

If you are using heat, grab your curling wand. Section your dry, detangled hair, and keep the hair you aren’t working on up in a clip or ponytail holder so it isn’t getting in the way. If you want big waves, work on larger sections at a time, and if you desire smaller waves, use smaller sections of hair. The steps above will tell you exactly how to do it.

No Heat:

If you are not using heat, simply untwist your hair and lightly brush out  the ends of your hair with a Denman brush for a more messy beach look. Be careful not to snag your ends. If you aren’t a fan of brushing your dry hair, simply separate the twists with your fingers until you have the look you are going for. Just like that you have successfully completed this beautiful style!
