It’s a beautiful thing when our children have positive representation, when they have someone who looks just like them to aspire to be, great things happen. That’s why we at tgin are so excited about the Little Professor Skye book series.

Created by Morehouse College graduate, Munson Steele and inspired by his Goddaughter, Skye Munson, the series of books opens up the world of science, technology, and arts to young readers.

The heroine of the series is young Skye, an elementary school student who turns everyday things into countless adventures as she is always on the hunt to learn something new.

Skye is a diverse girl and has tons of hobbies. In her series she shares her love of tea time, martial arts, soccer, and dress up among many other things.

Sporting her signature curls she takes us through her day to day life of being a black girl who truly rocks!
