tgin had an amazing turnout this year for our second annual Cocktails For the Cure event where we hosted over 200 survivors and supporters at the Roanke in Chicago. Our gracious host Wgci’s own Kendra G. kept guests entertained all night.
Guests mixed and mingled the night away with cocktails, dancing and fundraising.As part of the fun we were able to give Andrea Slaughter, a breast cancer survivor a makeover!
We ended the night with a donation from us at tgin for $10,000 to the Metropolitan Breast Cancer Task Force, an amazing organization whose mission is to save womens lives by eliminating through health disparities in Illinois through the lense of breast cancer.
Though breast cancer awareness month is almost over our fight is ongoing. tgin has already raised 30k and is aiming for 50k in order to makeover a hospital waiting room in dire need of restoration in Chicago.
