Victoria’s Secret Goes Natural

What do lingerie, angel’s wings, and natural hair have in common? This year the answer is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The glitzy spectacle viewed by millions every year will feature models wearing their natural hair.

Sarah Potempa, the hairstylist for the show told viewers of Facebook Live, that all of the women will walk the runway with their own hair texture saying, “We want to embrace everyone’s natural beauty.” She also said there will be no extensions.

Among the 51 models will be beauties Jourdana Phillips, Herieth Paul, and Maria Borges sporting their cropped coils.

The show airs December 5th on CBS.

Natural hair has come a long way. We’re glad to see it represented.
