2019 NAACP Awards Natural Hair Winners

This year I had the opportunity of getting to attend the NAACP Image Awards and had an amazing time doing so. While it was a treat being able to attend, of course being a natural hair enthusiast I made sure to pay attention to all of the gorgeous hairstyles I got to see up close and personal. Here are several of our favorite natural hairstyles from the 2019 NAACP Image Awards.

1.Danai Gurira

Black Panther star, Danai Gurira looked stunning in her side parted twa.

2. Tracee Ellis Ross

While Blackish star, Tracee Ellis Ross may have stolen the show with her over the top dress, we loved her simple high bun and pinned bang.

3. Issa Rae

Creator and star of Insecure, Issa Rae looked fabulous with a top layered knot and long ponytail.

4. Chloe and Halle

Singers and stars of Grownish Chloe and Halle looked gorgeous with their simple and chic pulled back loc styles.

5. Yvonne Orji

Insecure star, Yvonne Orji stunned not only in this gorgeous gown, but also her braided top bun.

6. Yara Shahidi

We lived for Yara Shahidi’s shimmery dress, natural beat and simple and chic wash n’ go curls.

7. Marsai Martin

Marsai Martin is literally growing right before our eyes. The young starlette, star of Grownish and Little looked stunning inthe gorgeous gown and a low textured bun.
